The Tree

Also known as "Kale's" at some points during its existence, "The Tree" has a long and complex history.

Origin and Ownership

The tree is a huge {Species} tree that was magically created and/or enhanced by Ongal. His ownership, is however a little known detail, as it has been inhabited by many other individuals with no knowledge of Ongal whatsoever.

Residents

Enthral

The first known resident of The Tree was Enthral, who made it his base of operations for subjugating the nearby comminity of Hinkerville, for an unknown amount of time. Being a depraved wizard, he kept a number of persons, mostly human, imprisoned in The Tree for the purposes of Various Recreation.

Kale

The next 'owner' of the Tree was Kale Eccutel, who came upon The Tree in a rainstorm, seeking shelter. Being turned away by Enthrals' lackeys, Kale embarked on a one-adventurer campaign for Revenge and Shelter. In a dramatic climax, Kale accidentally dispatched Enthral by surprising him to death.

Over the next few years, Kale made this Tree his own base of adventuring operations and ran a successful business, liberating the Various Recreators from their bondage, and employing them in said business, gainfully. Always concerned for the well-being for his staff, Kale hired his own guards and made a number of improvements to The Tree as a facility.

Sadly, the events of Frigid Doom left The Tree, it's improved grounds, and all it's residents trapped in a magical glacier for hundreds of years, this glacier somehow even becoming separated from Terrek and left to float in the Tempest.

The Tree was 'rescued' by Ongal in they year {gamedate}, chipped out of the ice, and refashioned as The Redemption.
