Roving Vision
| Drain | -2 |

This spell allows the caster to direct her vision to places where it would not normally be able to go—that is, it enables her to see through objects, see things in dark places, and (with enough degrees of success) see things that are far away as though they were very close. When the spell is cast, the caster's vision essentially becomes mobile, and can be willed to move from the caster's eyes out into the world. The vision can move quite quickly, but it is not capable of moving directly from one point to another without traversing the intervening distance. Some examples of activities that a caster can do with this spell include scanning the interior of a building from outside, reading something that's written on a scrap of paper located in someone's pocket, or watching the activities of someone from across town.

Limitations and Notes:
- While the spell is active, the caster's "roving" vision replaces his normal vision. Thus, while using the spell, the caster is completely blind to his immediate surroundings, and only regains his sight once the spell is completely and permanently terminated (which he can do at will).
- Although a caster can use the spell to look at something far away from him, he cannot "target" the spell on some distant place or thing and automatically find it. Once the spell is cast, the caster must scan around for what he wants to look at, as if sending a pair of "virtual eyes" out to find it.
