Rights for Monsters Soon

Rights for Monsters Soon, named out of a general acknowledgment that their goals are not likely to be accomplished immediately, advocates the idea that an organism's capacity to experience pleasure and suffering should be the basis for determining how it should be treated. These individuals maintain that no thinking being, including animals, monsters, or ordinary folks, should be mistreated, except in extreme cases such as self-defense. They often use peaceful means of protesting, like picketing magical research centers and writing stern letters, although they have been known to use the more radical tactics of Rights for Monsters Now (RMN) on occasions. Ironically, however, they have more often been the target of criticism than RMN.

RMS has been known to follow adventurers down into the depths in order to ensure that the rights of monsters aren't violated. Where RMS has influence with the government, and a member of the organization must be assigned to every adventuring party, and must be returned in one piece at the end of the adventure.
