Monster Cookbook Legalese, Credits, and Disclaimers

The Monster Cookbook is based on Chain of Being, a humorous fantasy game developed by Limestone Publishing and released in 2002. No severe irreversible psychological damage was sustained to any entities as a result of the publication of this book, though a feline was occasionally irritated. No monsters or animals were physically harmed as a result of the making of the book. Limestone Publishing, LLC does not condone the actual consumption of monsters, real or fictional. Limestone Publishing assumes no responsibility any implied or inferred ethical dilemmas raised by this book’s apparent advocacy of the slaughter and mastication of monsters. Limestone Publishing is not liable in the event of the reader's premature death due to the excessive consumption of monsters high in cholesterol. Please note that consuming improperly prepared monsters may cause abdominal distention, explosive diarrhea, and/or sudden death. Also note that the consumption of certain monsters may have additional aversive health consequences, including but not limited to subsequent retribution at the hands of the consumed monster’s immediate family and/or vengeful nonphysical essence.
