Extra-Dimensional SummoningExtra-Dimensional Summoning
Allows the Meta-Pleader to summon duplicate items from reality
Some thoughts from the Cobbler:
Substances are not necessarily trivial or unimportant; things like medicines, acids, gasoline can be pretty potent relative to anything you can get with two degrees (simple object), so I think they need to appear at a higher level somehow (not necessarily extremely high—just higher than they are at present).
I think we need a size restriction as well, to prevent characters from gathering immense simple objects. This can replace the "number" category, and also helps to show us how much of something you get when you get a substance. Also, if you get a cubic foot of space, you can get several objects if they're particularly small.
For that matter, I don't want people with this spell being able to summon extremely complex objects at will, even at the very highest levels. Your van is a pretty nifty "magic" item and while I think it is very cool and adds a dimension to your character and to the game that you have it, I would have a dim view of multiple vans (much less 16 vans) or similar objects becoming a part of gameplay.
The quantity column was a module add-on that I apparently purchased way back when but do not recall ever using. I'm getting rid of it. The way that amassing crap was previously limited was that I needed an example item (from reality) in the first place and the summon just resulted in an equivalent amount (for example when I summon gasoline I'm limited to duplicating the 5 gallons I've got in a gas can (which could be considered a logical amount for gas summoning)). A further option for limiting it could be that when summoning items that are already in abundance in gameality the plead has an increasing chance of pulling from gameality. Degree Matrix
