Evil Wizard

Born in 962 in southern Shamina as Sanford Huncub Wuzzyfeather, the human wizard who would later be known only as Evil Wizard was considered a child prodigy. Relating to others was particularly simple for him due to his natural social skill. At first, Sanford found this pleasant, but as he grew up, he discovered that many things in life were no longer challenging enough to be of interest to him. It was a simple matter for him to research a powerful spell designed to challenge him. For the first time in his life, however, Sanford essentially failed at something — namely, fully understanding the nature of the spell and evaluating whether this was a good idea. The spell was extremely effective, reducing height in height about a foot, giving him an unpleasant voice and grating demeanor, and cutting most of his abilities in half, including his memory of his name.

Finding himself too incompetent now to do much of anything, but being only marginally aware of this fact due to a substantially reduced intellect, Sanford continued to pursue wizardry, albeit incompetently. One day, after a particularly noxious instance of flatulence caused one of his former friends to refer to him as 'evil,' he concluded that he must indeed be an Evil Wizard, and began to refer to himself as such. He cultivated an evil image consistent with his name and set up a place from which to terrorize people on a nearby mountain, although he never actually terrorized anyone.

In 998 of the Fourth Age, Evil Wizard's mountain was approached by wanderers Kale Eccutel, Atheza Stanim, Grono, Henry, and Fidgit, who easily thwart his pathetic defenses in an effort to find a wizard capable of quickly returning them home to Toswald. Evil Wizard, who had become lonely and pathetic by this time, implies to the group an interest in bondage with Kale, and subsequent activities convince him to accompany the party home. An accident during his teleportation spell delivers the group to a mirror universe, however, and after a series of incidents the group is acquainted with Good Wizard, Evil Wizard's exact opposite. Evil Wizard lives in sexual bliss with his counterpart for a short time before killing him and citing 'lack of sex' as his motivation. The actions of Evil Wizard after this time are not known.
