Character Sheet Basics
The first box on the character sheet is for filling in basic details about your character, including the following:
- Player Name: If you sometimes forget who you are, or if you think someone might want to know that this character is yours, write your name here.
- Campaign: If your campaign (the name of the story you're in) has a name, it goes here.
- Character Name: If your character has a name, this would be a good place to write it.
- Type: Characters in most games have some distinguishing classification, like race, clan, or similar. That goes here.
- Age: The number of years your character has been alive, fictionally speaking, go here. Alternatively, you can write the character's birthday, if you know the date in which your campaign is set.
- Gender: The gender of your character goes here, obviously.
- Preference: Inscribe your character's preference for nearly anything here, whether it be ice cream flavor preference, car transmission preference, or even, say, sexual preference, kink preference, or preference for number of romantic partners.
- Spent XP: Record how many experience points you have spent here. This is helpful as a general gauge of your character's power.
- Unspent XP: Record how many experience points you have yet to spend here so that you can remember to spend them later.
The next blank on the character sheet allows you to fill in some details about what your character looks like, including most of the straightforward basics like hair textures and colors, eye features and colors, height and weight, and basic physical description, including what your character is generally found wearing.
